According to police, Using a gas cutter, a gang of about five to six men, wearing masks, entered the housing complex at about 3 am, after cutting the defunct ‘solar fencing’. They managed to tie the night watchman of the West End Colony and entered a house on Plot 3, which was locked. They could fly with gathered silver ornaments weighing 6 tolas.
Following their failure to find heavy items, they entered the neighboring house on Plot 4. After threatening a man who was asleep, all they could get his car keys. “They were speaking Hindi and were covering their faces with masks,” said SI,V Sudheer Kumar.
