Thieves managed to enter a house at Ramanthapur after opening the locks with the keys hidden in a motorcycle and took away gold ornaments and a car parked in the house on Sunday.
The police said the house owner, Laxma Reddy, a school correspondent, locked the house and kept the keys in the cover of the fuel tank of a motorcycle and left for a function. Some persons took the keys and opened the doors of the house and took away about 10 tolas of gold ornaments and silver ornaments, the police said.
Later, while leaving, the miscreants took away a Swift car parked into the house. The incident came to light when the inmates returned after attending the function in the night. The Uppal police registered a case and launched an investigation. (INN)
