In a bold attempt, an Un identified burglars committed the theft of seven tolas gold jewellery by entering into a house in Shankarpur in the Shamshabad Rural police limits.
According to police, the burglar knocked the door of a house on Tuesday afternoon. When the inmates, Lavanya (24) and Sumalatha (21), Resident of Shankarpur opened the door two unknown persons Claiming as Ornament Polishers. When Lavanya and Sumalatha gave gold jewellery seven tolas they put the ornaments in a cooker along with water and chemical, close the lid and asked her to open it after 15 to 20 minutes and they left the place. When the womens opened the lid, the artificial ornament in lid instead of Gold Ornaments were found missing, Lavanya and Sumalatha, lodged a complaint in Shamshabad police station.
