Bulgarian club Levski Sofia appoint Stoev as new coach

Bulgarian first division football club Levski Sofia announced Monday that they had signed Stoycho Stoev as their new chief coach.

The 52-year-old Stoev, who guided Ludogorets Razgrad to claim the title of Bulgarian league last season, has signed a two-and-a-half year contract with Levski, reports Xinhua.

Stoev is the sixth coach to take the helm at Levski in just two seasons.

Levski Sofia, one of the country’s most popular clubs, are currently fifth in the league table, with 16 points adrift of leaders and arch rivals CSKA Sofia.
