Saudi Arabia is trying to find buildings in Makkah Mukarrama and Madina Munawwara to accommodate pilgrims for this Hajj season. Mr. Abdul Hameed executive officer Andhra Pradesh State Hajj Committee and Chief Executive Officer Waqf Board has been selected as a member of Building Selection Committee. He will be on a visit to Saudi Arabia from June 18 to July 10 and will select buildings for Indian Hajj Pilgrims. Principal Secretary Raymond Peter issued GO RT 86 in this connection on Thursday.
Mr. Abdul Hameed termed it as an honour and told that he will avail the opportunity given by Almighty Allah to serve Hajj pilgrims and will try to select good buildings for Indian Hajj pilgrims. He will try to ensure selection of buildings which are closer to Haram Shareef.
