A builder’s house in Malleswaram was burgled with gold and diamond ornaments worth Rs 20 lakhs.
The house was looted in the absence of the builder.Kumar, a builder, and his wife Anitha Kumari, were in V V Puram at their relative’s place to attend a birthday function. On returning home around 9.30 pm, they found the house in muddle. The back door was broken and jewellery was missing from the closet, according to Malleswaram police.
The crooks made away with gold ornaments weighing 440-gram along with a diamond necklace and a pair of diamond earrings. Malleswaram police registered a case and are investigating.
