Hyderabad: Ex-floor leader Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and ex-Corporator Bholakpur Ward Mr. Mohammed Wajid Husain thanked Commissioner GHMC Mr. Janardhan Reddy, Zonal Commissioner Central Zone, Mr. Mukund Reddy, Deputy Commissioner Circle 9/A after whose effective representation, budget was sanctioned for Jama Masjid Musheerabad Graveyard. It must be recalled that the wall of the graveyard was collapsed due to heavy rain in September 2016. But GHMC paid no attention towards it.
After a long wait Congress leader Mr. Mohammed Wajid Husain visited Zonal Commissioner Central Zone Mr. Ravi Kiran and Deputy Commissioner of Municipal Circle 9/A Mr. Mukund Reddy and submitted a memorandum stating that the graves are being desecrated thanks to the negligence of Municipal Corporation which is unbearable for Muslims. He also added that if the budget was not released immediately he would stage protest in this connection. After which officials of GHMC visited the graveyard and sanctioned Rs. 640000 as an estimated budget for construction of wall, and directed the concerned contactor to begin construction work immediately.
Ex-Corporator Bholakpur ward Mr. Mohammed Wajid Husain along with respective Assistant Engineer Mr. Tirupati, Work Inspector Mr. Sultan Ahmed, concerned contactor and others visited the graveyard.
