In view of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak, the government has allotted Rs. 2.5 crore for construction and repair of Masajid and Eidgahs across the state. The aid will be given to such masajid where income is less and prayer is performed 5 times daily and Eidgahs where Namaz-e-Eidain is offered.
Secretary Minority Welfare Ahmed Nadeem issued GO RT 109 in this connection. In view of the election code of conduct election commission has permitted the issue of amount and execution of works without any advertisement.
Secretary Minority Welfare Mr. Ahmed Nadeem has issued the amount to all districts in proportion to their minority population.
