Hyderabad, February 21: A B.Tech student, resident of Hyderabad drowned in Basar, River Godavari. According to reports Syed Shahnawaz (22) residing at Golconda Hyderabad student of B.Tech final year drowned in Basar Godavari yesterday morning.
Shahnawaz had arrived Ankapur of Nizamabad district with his friends to attend a marriage ceremony of his friend’s sister.
Shahnawaz didn’t know swimming but his friends forced him for that. As soon as he stepped into the river he slipped into the river and drowned.
His body was retrieved by fishermen.
