Bahujan Samaj Party(BSP) leader Pradip Shankhwar was found dead in mysterious circumstances in Barara area of Kanpur city last night. According to police the deceased, husband of former Zila Panchayat chairperson Mira Shankhwar, went to Ghatampur to meet his friend and they consumed liquor in their car. Later the deceased fell unconscious and was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead. Prima facie police report said that consumption of liquor could be the reason behind the death. However, the post-mortem report will reveal the real reason behind the death. Police is investigating the case.
