BSF jawan singing ‘Sandese Aate Hai’ is winning the internet

NEW DELHI: A video of Boarder Security Forces (BSF) jawan singing “Sandese Aate Hain” from J.P. Dutta’s seminal classic ‘Border’ is winning the hearts on social media platforms.

In the two whole minutes video, the jawan, identified as Surinder Singh singing the song from the 1997 patriotic Bollywood film in his soulful voice while the audience around him applaud his efforts.

The video which was earlier posted on Youtube before going viral on Twitter had caught the attention of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal who rewteeted it after it has been shared by Twitter user Anita Chauhan.

Surinder participated in Indian Idol 10 which was judged by Neha Kakkar, Anu Malik, and Vishal Dadlani and has sang the same song that melted many hearts

Twitterati were not shy of showing their love and adoration for the jawans who fight for the nation.

One user wrote, “Salute to our very loved an respected soldiers…. Jai Hind, Jai Bharat,” with another posting, “He would be the TRUE one and his co brothers to have FELT each words they sang! Vande Mataram!”

Another user posted, “Proud of you sir. BSF jai jawans. U people r the real heros of this nation. What a song I am in tears.”

Since being posted, the video has received over one lakh views and 3,866 likes.
