It has become routine that young children neglect their parents when they grow old. During the old age parents do not need money, they need care and affection from their sons and daughters which is lacking these days. When parents retire from service, their children consider them as burdens. There are cases where children go to foreign countries for green pastures leaving their parents in helpless conditions.
Mother needs more attention from her children. There are various traditions of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and Quranic injunctions for treating the parents in a nice way. There is a need for the Islamic scholars to create awareness among the younger generations to take care of their parents.
