The brutal murder of the pious elderly Muslim gentleman Syed Nooruddin in Azampura area has shocked the city recently. There are many theories roaming around the city. Many local residents who are aware of the facts behind this brutal murder are in dilemma as to why police is hiding the truth.
If the sources are to be believed, it is a clear incident of communal hatred. The deceased Nooruddin had a quarrel with the murderer Rajeshwar Singh who is an active member of Hindu Vahini a couple of days before the brutal murder and assassin had threatened Nooruddin of dire consequences.
According to the sources, murderer Rajeshwar (a son of BJP activist) was playing DJ recordings on the occasion of Sankranti. It was also reported that he had constructed a temple of Naag Devta in his house and he used to play recordings loudly to offer prayer which was causing noise pollution and inconvenience to the locals. The deceased had objected to the nuisance. The murderer, Rajeshwar attacked Mr. Nooruddin to take revenge.
The Political leaders and Police believed to have shielding the murderer. But why? To avoid communal disturbance in the city or what? It is a question which is roaming around the city. The police haste in burying the dead body in early hours has also raised eyebrows. Despite the fact, that his eldest son intended to attend his last rites.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Mahmood Ali find the time to visit the deceased home on Wednesday and assured his family of free and fair trial.
