Lucknow: Witness in her husband’s murder, an elderly woman and her son were reportedly murdered in broad daylight in Meerut before they could appear and testify in the court.
The double murder was shot on CCTV camera which was installed outside the victims in Meerut’s Partapur locality in Sorkha Village.
The three murderers had made sure to kill the woman and only left after seeing her dead. They are caught on camera reloading their weapons thrice to murder her before fleeing the crime scene.

The elderly woman and her son were a witness to the murder of her husband and were under constant pressure to withdraw the case.
The video footage shows the elderly woman resting on the cot placed outside her house with another elderly woman when the murders walked in on them.
The elderly woman is seen struggling for life after the culprits fire six bullets at her and then finally shot three more in her head from point-blank range, killing her instantly.
The double murder video footage has gone viral intensifying situation in Meerut.
Meerut Zone’s ADG Prashant Kumar said that no one will be spared and the culprits will soon be arrested since they have been identified.
UP’s CM Yogi Adityanath had called a high-level meeting of Police officials to address the rise in crime rate in the state.
Senior BJP Leader Laxmikant Vajpayee speaking to News18, said that the criminals are having a good time and the responsible officials should be punished. He said, “Encounters are useful when they establish fear of police in criminals, but currently criminals are having a good time due to laxity of some officials. Such officials should be punished immediately.”
