The last date for submission of applications under the Building Regularisation Scheme and Layout Regularisation Scheme is today i.e. March 1. This time the government has not extended the deadline.
The GHMC received 1,13,095 BPS applications under Greater Hyderabad limits through which it has received 10197.91 lakhs and 68,722 LRS applications which added Rs 5504.7 lakh to government treasury.
Under BRS, the government has given an opportunity to house-owners who constructed unauthorised buildings and those constructed in deviation of the sanctioned plan Rules 2015 to regularise the buildings. Owners have to file applications for regularisation of their unauthorised buildings.
Under LRS, plot owners in unapproved layouts should file applications for regularisation of their plots.
