Sitapur, December 31: A child and her infant brother were charred to death when a hut caught fire in Reosa block of the district, police said here today.
Fahmida (3) and her seven-month old brother Shamim died yesterday in the mishap caused by accidental fire from a coal stove kept to keep the room warm, they said.
The incident occurred when senior family members were out for some work.
