New Delhi: A man and his sister have been booked in connection with the alleged rape of a woman and cheating after getting her married in Faridabad, police said.
According to the woman’s complaint, the incident took place a few days back after Salman’s sister offered her tea which was laced with sedatives.
She said that Salman raped her after she fell unconscious and when she told the duo about informing the police about the incident, Salman married her according to Hindu rituals the next day in Sector-55 here in front of his friends and relatives, a police official said.
The couple went to Salman’s house after the marriage but were thrown out of the house later by his parents, he said.
They then shifted to a rented house but Salman left from there after living for some days and came back to his parents and left the girl alone.
A case has been registered and investigation in underway.
