Lav Agarwal, IAS, Secretary to Government YAT&C(S) Dept. and VC&MD, SATS has felicitated Mohammed Ahmed, a native of Kavadiguda, Secunderabad (Telangana) and Bronze Medalist in Rowing (Men’s Team eight event) – 2014 at Incheon Asian Games and his coach “Dronacharya” Ismail Baig, who called on Secretary Chamber’s at Secretariat today.
While congratulating the both, the Secretary said ‘Water Sports have gained a lot of popularity in Telangana and it is proud to the State that winning a Bronze medal in Asian Games by the newly formed State Sports Person has brought laurels to the County. The medal will motivate/inspire all the sportspersons in the State in general and Water Sports in particular.
He also appreciated the Medal Winner and his Coach for their handwork and efforts in achieving the “Asian Games Bronze Medal” which is prestigious. The Secretary, Sports have assured the Asian Medalist and Coach for suitable rewards with the blessings of Chief Minister of the Telangana State.

Lav Agarwal also congratulated Anup Kumar Yama, who won five medals in Asian Roller Skating Championship recently held in China. He sent a congratulatory message to Anup Kumar. (NSS)
