Hyderabad, June 4: The British Council has announced the launch of Scholarship Award for Indian students planning to study in universities overseas. Eight students from India will be selected in this connection who will receive an award of Rs.3 lakh each towards the cost of tuition fees.
The required criteria for scholarship eligibility are the candidate must be Indian and has begun full time post graduate education overseas during year 2011.
The candidate should take admission in any overseas university which uses IELTS as a part of its admission requirement and as a reliable measure of English language proficiency.
