Brit media suggests Flower may step aside as England coach after Ashes tour

The rumblings are starting within the UK that England coach Andy Flower may choose to step aside after being too drained to once again start from scratch following the Ashes humbling so far at the hands of Australia.

According to News.com.au, Flower has been a key part of the African revolution that has turned the English cricket team into a world force. Former skipper Michael Vaughan said that transition was the hardest phase to manage. He added that Flower would still statistically go down as England”s greatest coach if he decides to quit at the end of the tour. He further said that there are whispers that this will be his last tour but he hopes not, adding that he hopes Flower sees this as a new challenge. (ANI)
