Senior BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreyya today accused Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy of having failed to bring funds from the Centre to the State.
Talking to news persons here, Mr Dattatreya alleged that Mr Reddy was afraid of losing his post and that’s why he was not mounting pressure on Prime Minister for getting funds to the State.
He said although the State was being subjected to major injustices, the Chief Minister was giving priority to his post than the state and its people.
The former Union Minister said despite having 31 Congress MPs from the state, the Chief Minister was unable to pressurise the Centre for funds, he said. The Chief Minister should focus his attention on bringing funds from the Centre by utilising the services of MPs, Mr Dattatreyya said. UNI
