A newlywed bride attempted suicide at Shamsabad. According to details 18-year-old Asra Begum, wife of Shaikh Mahboob, resident of Ahmed Nagar Shamsabad, after a brief altercation with her husband, poured kerosene over her body and set herself ablaze.
Asra Begum was rushed to Osmania hospital where doctors declared her condition as critical. Asra Begum married to Shaikh Mahboob on April 2. Shamsabad RGI police has registered a case and investigations are underway.
