Breach of privilege motion against Maha MoS Home

Mumbai, July 15: A breach of privilege motion was moved against Maharashtra Minister of State for Home, Ramesh Bagwe for not fulfilling an assurance given in the state Legislative Council.

“Bagwe had assured to transfer Pune police commissioner Satyapal Singh for his failure to curb crime rate in the city.

The promise has not been fulfilled,” said Shiv Sena MLC Neelam Gorhe, who moved the breach of privilege motion against him.

Bagwe assured transfer of Singh during last budget session of the Legislature while replying to a discussion on law and order situation in the state.

Another Shiv Sena MLC Deepak Sawant also moved a breach of privilege motion against director of Seven Hills hospital, for allegedly insulting President Pratibha Patil, who inaugurated the hospital in suburban Andheri on July 4.

The hospital authorities have not got necessary clearance from Medical Education and Health Directorate, Sawant said.
