The Andhra Pradesh Open University Vice Chancellor and Principal Secretary of Higher Education Dr Ajay Mishra has approved the proposal to start 4 Certificate courses, 4 Diploma courses and 5 Bachelor Degree Programs in the field of Specialty and supra-specialty courses of Para Medical and Allied Health courses to increase job opportunities for educated unemployed youth. Thus the educated Un-Employed youth can easily seek their future in health industry not only in Indian market but also in International Market.
Dr. P Sudhakar, Registrar for University, announced in a press note that they have finalized MOU with Medwin Institute of Medical Sciences, which is a pioneer in Para-Medical & Allied Health Programs since 2001, and that the courses will start from Academic Year 2014-15 onwards.
Dr. Venkata Narayana Director Academics said that these courses will definitely bring good Jobs for the trained candidates. Dr. Md Samiullah Khan, Director, Academics, Medwin Institute of Medical Sciences, thanked Dr. Ajay Mishra for his quick action and bringing the dreams of Youth to reality.
The Courses are: Certificate in Asst. Dialysis Technician; Certificate in Asst. Emergency Medical Technician; Certificate in Asst. Medical Imaging Technician; and Certificate in Asst. Medical Laboratory Technician.
Diploma Courses: Diploma in Anaesthesia Technician; Diploma in Dialysis Technician; Diploma in Emergency Medical Technician; Diploma in Medical Imaging Technician. Interested candidates who passed either SSC/Inter/equivalent can avail this Opportunity. The seats are allotted for each course.
