Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav on Friday called Prime Minister Narendra Modi a ‘bramhapishaach’ and said that the latter is not fit for his job.
“He has insulted me by calling me a ‘shaitaan’ when he is the ‘bramhapishaach’ himself and we have ways to ward off demons,” Lalu told the media here.
He added that President Pranab Mukherjee’s message for tolerance and diversity had been directed towards the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Modi in his rally at Munger, Bihar, yesterday had slammed the RJD supremo over his beef remark.
He used the RJD chief’s clarification that it was ‘ shaitan’ (demon) that forced his tongue to speak out such a thing to take potshots at him.
“How did shaitan find his ( Lalu’s) address? Why did shaitan choose him among all people in the entire state, nation and the world? Should the people of Bihar allow the person in whom shaitan resides to rule the state?” asked Prime Minister Modi.
The RJD will on Friday will move the Election Commission to complain against Prime Minister Modi’s ‘shaitan’ remark on Lalu and will also urge the EC to ban the Prime Minister from campaigning in Bihar for the upcoming assembly polls. (ANI)
