Andhra Pradesh State Brahmana Samkshema Sangam general secretary S Sridhar has said they will obstruct felicitation to Prof. Kanche Ilaiah to be held at Vijayawada on October 28.
Speaking to the media here today, Sridhar said Brahmans will take out a protest rally against Ilaiah’s felicitation program. Reacting on it, Ilaiah made it clear that he will not be afraid of Brahmana community peoples’ threats and made it clear that he will participate in the felicitation program.
It may be recalled that Brahmins and Arya-Vaishya community people were staging protest programs across the two Telugu States for writing controversial book ‘Samajika Smuglarlu Komatollu’ which created furore across the nation. (NSS)
