Brahmana Joint Action Committee president Pannala Kishore Sharma on Monday declared that they would go on fast-unto-death if the “Denikaina Ready” film producer, director and hero failed to tender an unconditional apology to the Brahmin community and the film industry give categorical assurance on not making such controversial films in the future.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Monday, Kishore Sharma demanded that the State government delete the objectionable scenes and dialogues from the “Denikaina Ready” film. He wanted the film producer Manchu Mohan Babu and his actor-son Manchu Vishnu apologise to the Brahmin community. He also said that they would withdraw the cases against Mohan Babu and his son if the duo removed objectionable scenes and dialogues from the film and tender apology to the community.
Brahmana Sangham vice-president V. Phani Sharma warned the film producers and directors not to make films insulting the Brahmin community in future. He said that they would announce their agitation action plan shortly. He said that they were not against any community and the film industry, but they were only against the provocative scenes and dialogues against their community.
