#BoycottMillennials trends after Sitharaman’s comment

After Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman speaks about the slowdown in the auto industry and attributed the lower demand to the changing mindset of millennials, #BoycottMillennials becomes one of the top trends on Twitter.

“The automobile and components industry has been affected by BS-VI (norms) and the mindset of millennials, who now prefer to have Ola and Uber rather than committing to buying an automobile,” ANI quotes Sitharaman as saying.

Soon after, hashtags like #SayItLikeNirmala and #BoycottMillennials began trending on Twitter and the sarcastic comments have been doing the rounds.

Have a look.
