Muslim Ulema of Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha have decided to boycott marriages in which dowry are taken. It was decided in a meeting held at Bihar Shareef under the Chairmanship of Maulana Mansoor Alam, President District Unit of Darul Qaza. Speaking to Newsmen, he said that Islam has prohibited dowry and all other things on the occasion of marriage. Muslim Ulema have also decided to launch a campaign against such marriages in Nalanda District. The Imams of Mosques will be requested to join this campaign. It was also decided to boycott marriages in which people are fond of intoxicants and other evils.
