Adil Mohammed Khan Mahdavi, president Anjuman-e-Mahdavia maintained that the communal elements had seized sacrificial animals with the support of police and had sent them to Gaushalas. They bothered the purchasers by registering cases against them.
Even after repeated identification by Muslim organizations and traders no action has been taken against the miscreants. As a result the Muslim traders and those working under them had to suffer mental and financial trouble.
Predisposed by this, the unity shown by Quresh community in boycotting the purchase of beef cattle from the bazaar set up at various places, is a laudable and impressive move. Miscreancy of the mischief mongers should only be answered this way.
