Boy suffers from Aplastic anemia, needs financial help

One cannot even imagine the indescribable, seemingly unbearable grief of the parents whose child is suffering from a disease which is difficult to cure if not impossible.

Mrs. Atiya Siddiqui and Mohammed Akbar Ali Khan R/O Tolichowki are very much worried about their child’s disease. Electrician Mohammed Akbar Ali Khan and his wife have a son and a daughter; they got married in 2008. Their son Mohammed Siddique Ahmed Khan Kamran suddenly fell ill in October 2013; when he was taken to the doctors to their utter shock they were told that their son is suffering from a syndrome known as Aplastic anemia which is a rare disorder that results from the unexplained failure of the bone marrow to produce red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. A decrease in the production of blood cells means that patients are more susceptible to bleeding, fatigue and infections.

Doctors have told that the treatment would cost around Rs. 10 lakh. The couple told that they are poor but they didn’t want to leave any stone unturned to cure their son so they sold off all that they had. The boy is being treated by Dr. Shailesh R Singh at Care hospital but the disease has become intense hence requires surgery.
