Boy ‘stabbed brother over too loud music’

Australia, October 29: A Family dispute over loud music has left one teenage brother dead, and the other facing potential murder charges.

15-year-old William Gorzysnki remains in custody as he faces second-degree murder charges, with police yet to decide whether he will be trialled as a juvenile or an adult.

The incident started over an argument regarding loud music being played on William’s younger brother’s computer.

Police allege William, from the American town of Coral Springs, Florida, was watching TV and told his 14-year-old brother Matthew to turn down the music, which he refused to do.

Police allege William then went to the kitchen and grab a 18-centimetre knife and stabbed his brother in the chest, before later calling an ambulance.

Police say William told the 911 operator that he had “just stabbed his brother”.

“It’s actually a confession on tape,” Sgt. Joe McHugh said.

“He’s actually describing what occurred. This was definitely not accidental.”

Police have yet to lay charges.
