A five-year old child artiste was killed and another baby girl was injured in a freak accident during the shooting of a TV serial in Ramachandrapuram of Medak district on the outskirts of the city on Friday.
According to the information received here, Swathik Reddy and his sister Swathika were taking part in the shooting of a sequence for a Telugu TV serial this morning when the tragedy occurred. During the course of the shooting, the car being driven by the leading lady in the TV episode lost control and hit the two school kids. While the boy died on the spot, his sister sustained multiple injuries and was rushed to a hospital for treatment.
