A 19-year-old boy drowned in a swimming pool while swimming at Dhobi Ghaat, Yaqutpura. Sub inspector Rain Bazar Police Station Mr. Satya Narayana told that Mohammed Abdur Rizwan alias Addu R/O Imam Bada, Yaqutpura who was employed in Kirana shop left for swimming pool yesterday evening along with some friends. They went to YSP Swimming Pool located at Yaqutpura, Dhobi Ghaat. Rizwan dived into the swimming pool and drowned all of a sudden.
On receipt of information, police reached the spot and retrieved the body. CCTV recording at the swimming pool showed the youth drowning while swimming. Rain Bazar police registered a case on the complaint lodged by deceased father Mohammed Abdus Samad.
