Vijayawada, January 15:A four-year-old boy, who tried to save his toys from being destroyed in a fire, was charred death at Yenamalakuduru, here today.
Fire officer Srinivasa Rao told UNI an electric short circuit caused a fire in a thatched house and the flames spread to other huts.
P Issahak went inside his hut to save his toys and was trapped in the flames.
Nobody noticed the boy going into the hut to bring out his toys, the fire officer said.
