(Siasat News) APCC President Mr. Botsa Satyanarayana met Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad incharge of A.P. affairs and pleaded for giving a ticket to Dr. K. Keshava Rao for the second term of Rajya Sabha. He said that to nominate for the second term is the tradition of the Congress party. In case, Dr. Keshava Rao is not given ticket for Rajya Sabha seat, wrong signal will be sent to people. It will be construed that on account of his extending support to Telangana movement, Dr. Keshava Rao is being penalized.
Botsa also clarified his position about his alleged involvement in liquour Mafia scam. He briefed Mr. Azad about the latest political situation in A.P. He told him that Telangana issue has receded and Congress could win in 2 or 3 constituencies in Telangana region.
