Botsa leaves for Delhi

State Congress President Botsa Satyanarayana today left for Delhi with the possibility of having a discussion on strengthening the party and ironing out the differences.

The dissent in the state cabinet has been worrying the high command with a group of ministers aligning with Botsa against the Chief Minister. A complaint was also lodged against Chief Minister and his style of functioning.

Another worrying factor is that some of the dissident ministers are trying to project K Chiranjeevi as the future leader. With Karnataka results coming in favour of Congress, decision making would be easy for the High Command. Chiranjeevi had campaigned extensively in Karnataka polls.

It is understood that Chief Minister had extended an olive branch to Botsa before he left for Delhi. (INN)
