A day after Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy explained the Congress president Sonia Gandhi over the drubbing of Congress party in recent by-elections, now it is the turn of Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana to answer high command over the defeat of party.
In the one-to-one meeting with Sonia Gandhi, PCC president Botsa Satyanayana apart from explaining the reasons for recent failure of party, also submitted a comprehensive report according to the constituency wise over the steps taken to strengthen the party at grass root level.
The PCC chief also briefed Sonia Gandhi over the slew of measures to boost the confidence of rank and file.
According to sources, the PCC chief also informed Sonia Gandhi over the latest political situation prevailed in the State after the outcome of by-elections.
