TDP senior leader Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu has alleged that both the YSR Congress President Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao (KCR) were separatists.
Speaking to the media here on Friday, Muddukrishnama Naidu said both Jagan and KCR would get political benefit if the State was bifurcated. He alleged that the duo was discussing on how to bifurcate the State in secret meeting in New Delhi. It might have yielded some result had Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy resigned from his post immediately after Assembly resolution rejecting Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Bill, he added. Instead of doing so, Kiran Kumar Reddy was now enacting resignation drama, he charged.
The senior TDP leader suspected that Kiran Kumar Reddy was willing to resign from his post to make way for a Telangana person to succeed him. He also urged Kiran Kumar Reddy to sincerely work for unity among the Seemandhra leaders to avert bifurcation of the State. (NSS)
