Botcha to talk to all leaders on Telangana

Appealing to the Telangana students and youth not to commit suicides for the sake of separate Telangana, PCC Chief Botcha Sathyanarayana has said that he would talk to all the political parties on Telangana issue.

Speaking to media persons in the Assembly lobbies on Monday, Botcha said that he was wishing to resolve the Telangana issue at the earliest. He said that he would convene a meeting with the ministers, party MLAs, MLCs and senior leaders from Telangana region to discuss the issue.

The PCC Chief also said that he advised the party senior leaders from Seemandhra, Dr D L Ravindra Reddy and Dr Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy not to make statements which might harm the party’s interests. He said that Dr D L had addressed a letter to AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi explaining his opinion.

It is learnt that Botcha was leaving for Delhi on Wednesday, on which day the Assembly budget session would be adjourned sine die. (NSS)
