Botcha Fumes And Frets At Media

PCC Chief Botcha Sathyanarayana flared up at the media men on Wednesday stating that they had misquoted his remarks made at the press meet held on Tuesday.

In an informal chit chat with media, Botcha said that he didn’t criticise the Rajya Sabha member Chiranjeevi and his erstwhile PRP. He said that his remarks were aimed at Kadapa MP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his party YSRCP. He contended that the media men have to get their doubts clarified before writing or telecasting anything. He expressed his ire at the media men saying they were not following minimum ethics and it was not correct on their part.

He also referred to a particular channel and said that it was not correct on it’s part to telecast a cartoon program directly mentioning his name. “The media has to follow ethics”.

When a reporter advised Botcha to file a case against the particular channel, Botcha countered and asked what will happen with the case. He said that the people would attack the media house with chappals on some day, and it must happen in future. “Just wait and watch, the people would attack the media houses”, he said.(NSS)
