Botcha demands Naidu to disclose contents of his letter to PM on special status

YSR Congress Party senior leader Botcha Satyanarayana has demanded that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu disclose the contents of his report sent to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the issue of Special Status to Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Saturday, Botcha demanded that the Chief Minister make available a letter from the Prime Minister’s Office whether Special Status to AP figured in the CM’s letter or not. He pointed out that invariably any Prime Minister, before visiting a State, would seek the demands of such a State.

Quoting Chandrababu Naidu that he had faltered and asked the Prime Minister for Special Package instead of Special Status to the State during the Amaravathi stone laying function, a shocked Botcha asked as to why Chandrababu Naidu was behaving in such a quixotic manner. He also questioned Chandrababu as how long he would take people for a ride by fraudulent tactics.

Demanding Chandrababu Naidu to admit his mistakes honorably keeping aside his petty political interests, Botcha demanded the former to fight for Special Status to the State, otherwise, the people of the State would not excuse him. Alleging that Chandrababu Naidu’s own party men were fed up with his style of functioning, Botcha asked Naidu whether he was still adopting his pet Two-Eyed policy. (NSS)
