Botcha Dares Naidu to Seek CBI Probe, if he is Clean

Mounting a scathing attack on the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on the Cash for Vote issue, YSRCP leader and former Minister Botcha Satyanarayana today said that Naidu should seek CBI probe in to the matter, if he is really clean.

Speaking to the media at Lotus pond here, Botcha questioned how the people could live with dignity if the Chief minister himself resorts to corrupt practices. He said that Naidu has excelled late NTR in action. Naidu was telling that his phone was being tapped. He asked why Naidu never said that the tone in the tape released was not his. He also said that the Chief Minister has not condemned the Revanth Reddy affair. He said that in cases of corruption, a common man and a chief Minister are equal and if necessary, their phones could be tapped. Chief Ministers cannot have special protection in the matter, he added.

Botcha said that the Constitution has not given permission to any Chief Minister to indulge in corrupt practices. He reminded that a Minister in Delhi Government was arrested on charges of fake certificate. He questioned Chandrababu Naidu as to who has given his the right to create a rift between the people of the two states and the two parties. He also asked Naidu whether he had fulfilled any of the promises made to the people during the one year rule.
