Condemning the Thursday’s serial bomb blasts at Dilsukhnagar, PCC Chief Botcha Satyanarayana has said the terrorist incidents were occurring even as the government was taking adequate security measures.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Friday along with former minister Shabbir Ali, AICC secretary Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy and official spokesperson Dr N Thulasi Reddy, Botcha expressed his deep condolences to the families of the deceased persons. He said those who have scant respect for democracy and values were indulging in insane acts in the cosmopolitan city, which is known for peace and prosperity.
The PCC chief called upon the people and party activists to face such incidents boldly and not see them in political angle. He lauded Youth Congress leaders, Care Hospital staff and media personnel for donating blood to the victims. He also said there was no police failure though the Centre had alerted the State police about the impending serial blasts two days ago. However, there was no specific information about it though the Centre had alerted all the State governments in the country. (NSS)
