Hyderabad, September 04: Telangana Rashtra Samiti senior leader A Chandrasekhar on Saturday condemned Speaker Nadendla Manohar for allegedly making remarks against the Telangana and Dalits which were published by the WikiLeaks Cable.
Talking to media persons at Telangana Bhavan, Chandrasekhar said that Speaker remarks have hurt the sentiments of Dalits, who played key role in the movement for separate Telangana. He demanded that Manohar must resign from the post of Speaker.
Chandrasekhar said that TRS SC cell would lodge a complaint against the Speaker Nadendla Manohar in National Human Rights Commission and write a letter to President of India seeking stern action against him. He said the cell was also planning to file a police complaint under the violation of SC/ST Atrocious Act against Nadendla Manohar.
Another TRS leader M Samuel appealed to DGP to book suo moto case against Speaker if the government fails to initiate action against him.
