Hyderabad: On the occasion of second annual function of Telangana writers and cultural society, a book releasing function is being arranged in collaboration with Dept. of Language and Culture, Govt. of Telangana at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, 18th October at Ravindra Bharati, Hyderabad. Mr. K. Prasanna Chand Bhandari will release the book “Dil hai Warak warak” containing the poems of Mr. Moin Afroz. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily will release the book “Shwad se Shabd Tak” containing the poetic collections of Dr. Ahiliya Mishra in Hindi and English. Mr. Zafar Javeed and Mr. Basha Nawaz Khan, Magistrate, Prof. S.A. Shukoor, Director of Urdu Academy, Prof. Baig Ehsas, former Head of the Dept. of Urdu, University of Hyderabad, Prof. Muzaffar Shahmeeri, Head of the Dept. of Urdu, University of Hyderabad, Mr. Sardar Saleem, Dr. H.M. Lal, Mr. Syed Nisar Ahmed and Mr. Babu Rao will be the guests of honour.
After the book releasing function, a cultural program will be arranged in which noted gazal singers, Mr. Zaheer Babar, Mr. Sajid Raoof etc. will render gazal. Ms. Tasneem Johar and Mr. Nitish Pande will conduct the function. Mr. Fareed Ziayi and Mr. Durga Raj are the conveners. Entry is free. All are welcome.
