Hyderabad: A seven-day long training programme in book publishing will be inaugurated at Maulana Azad National Urdu University on October 4 (Wednesday).
The programme is being organized in collaboration with University Grants Commission (UGC)-Human Resource development Centre (HRDC) of MANUU. It will be opened by Mr. Baldeobhai Sharma, NBT Chairman. The inaugural session will be presided over by M A Sikandar, MANUU Registrar.
Mr. Sharma told media persons that book publishing programme which are periodically organised in different parts of country are aimed at preparing students for the industry which require the fresh energy and new ideas from the youth of the country. A certificate will be given to the participants, he added.
Dr Sikandar, who has extensive experience book publishing process, said that similar courses will also be organised in the future because they are beneficial to the students.
