Hyderabad: Tension prevailed at Indira, Nagar area of Gachibowli on Saturday evening after locals suspected a bomb had been abandoned in cardboard carton.
The bomb squad, however, reached
the scene and found broken and used bulbs inside the box. Unidentified person dumped a carton on an open plot near a tiffin centre here and ran away, said Gachibowli police inspector R Srinivas.
Crowds gathered in the vicinity. A bomb disposal team was sent to the spot on receiving information and the suspicious box was opened and checked.
The found large blubs and broken fragments but nothing hazardous, police said.
