Hyderabad, September 11: A bomb hoax created flutter at Mehdipatnam where presence of an unclaimed bag near pillar number 40 of the Expressway created panic among the people.
On the receipt of information police laid siege of the spot and traffic was restricted from the four sides on Rethibowli cross roads.
Police after carrying on the search by bomb squad and dog squad declared the report as hoax and recovered a tiffin box in which some copper wires were placed. Later deputy commissioner of police west zone Mr. Stephen Ravinder said that the place was inspected after a receiving a phone call by an unidentified person.
