Bomb blast in Denmark

Copenhagen, June 17: A bomb targeting a former Hells Angels member exploded on Thursday in a parking lot in the western Danish city of Aarhus, damaging five or six cars and breaking windows on nearby buildings, police said.

No one was injured in the blast.

The bomb exploded around 07:00 at a parking lot near a juvenile delinquent centre in an industrial neighbourhood in the northern part of the city and “was aimed at a specific car,” local police inspector Ole Madsen told TV2 News.

“That vehicle was very damaged by the explosion which targeted a former member of (motorcycle gang) Hells Angels,” he said, adding that the man in question was connected with the juvenile delinquent centre.

Police said they had yet to determine the motive for the attack and if the bomb had been placed under the vehicle or just nearby.
